Porky Pig's Blue Christmas

This comedic rendition of “Blue Christmas” first aired on the syndicated John Boy and Billy radio show in 1994 and became an instant classic. Their radio program was based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their comedic morning program, “The John Boy & Billy Big Show” was broadcast from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time in several Southern and Midwestern states via syndication through Premiere Networks, primarily airing on classic rock, active rock, and country stations.

Denny Brownlee, from Charlotte , N.C. recorded the song in 1985 and later changed the credits from "Porky Pig" to "Seymour Swine & The Squealers." I think I first heard it played on “Magic 96” in Birmingham, AL around 1996. I was on my was to work, laughing all the way.

The Alabama Sleaze Trifectorate

Oh how I wish this were satire, but sadly, it is what we are facing. Alabamians go to the polls today to decide if they will keep corruption viable in their state. These three outlaws held the highest state offices in each branch of government: Gov. Robert Bentley, House Speaker Mike Hubbard and Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore. They were all removed from office on legal and moral grounds.

We now have the unthinkable option of keeping one of these corrupt cronies (Roy Moore) in public office when we vote for a new senator in a special election.

Let's keep them all out and start with a clean slate (emphasis on CLEAN) when we go to the polls to vote for our next senator.
